We opened on a quiet stretch of Kevin Street in 2025 because the morning light is pretty good here.
High Origins is a neighbourhood cafe built around one very plain idea: source the best coffee you can find on the island, brew it patiently, and serve it in a room that nobody wants to leave. The name is a nod to the mountains beans come from — and to the tall ask of getting the simple things right every day.
Our beans come from Silverskin and other Irish roasters. We don't import anything we can get from someone on the island doing it better.
Bring a book. Bring the dog. Sign the wall. The paper's always fresh.
